Behnam Zakeri, born in Minab(1991), Iran, and currently living and working in Canada, is a photographer and visual artist. He is a graduate of Photography from the University of Tehran. His work focuses on social, cultural, and geographical contexts, exploring how identity is shaped through place, memory, and lived experience. In recent projects, Zakeri examines the relationship between nature and identity through family archives and environmental narratives from Hormozgan in southern Iran. His practice approaches identity as a dynamic map formed by roots, personal histories, and the environments in which they unfold.
